Dr. Dre's latest protegé is Los Angeles based rapper Slim the Mobster. After pushing his demos to Dre in 2008, Slim became an Aftermath affiliate and has been diligently working with Dre on Detox (an album he is supposedly heavily featured on) and his upcoming street album, War Music, which drops November 8th. The street album features production from Dr. Dre, Jake One, Nottz, and Siege Monstracity, has guest vocals from Prodigy and Snoop Dogg, and is executive produced by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Sha Money XL.
